We love Armada Brewing, and not just because they will host SNERHC this year. They have also been strong supporters of the local homebrew community ever since their founding. And they make damn fine beer.
So, when Armada announced a “people’s choice”-style homebrew contest, we were in!
Mother Nature, it seems, does NOT love Armada Brewing. Competition day dawned grey, cold, and wet. And it got worse from there.
Did that stop our intrepid competitors? Did it even dampen their spirits? Not even a little! Look at the faces in the pictures below and you’ll see the joy.
No medals for the UBC crew, unfortunately. Congrats to Knight’s Brewing, Fallen Timbers, and Jack’s Basement for the wins!
