May Club Meeting (Inter Club Competition Judging)

Join us at Pierre Margraff’s House in Trumbull for our May meeting! We will be judging German Ales to select entries that will represent the Underground Brewers of CT in the upcoming CT Inter-Club competition. On June 8th, Brew Haven will be having the CT Homebrew Club Competition. Hosted at New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge, this competition is specific to AHA registered homebrew clubs in the Nutmeg state. The goal is to foster participation in homebrew clubs.
For the educational portion of the meeting, we will be exploring the off flavor DMS, trying spiked samples and discussing the nature of the off flavor.
New brewer? Or just new to the club? Please come by and join us. Meetings are generally 8-12 folks and focus on tasting homebrew and commercial beers. The meetings are open (membership not required), a relaxed atmosphere, and a great way to either get your beer evaluated (bring 2 bottles) or learn more about beer tasting and judging. Every month we encourage attendants to bring a homebrew that fits the theme of the month.
