SUMMARY:January Club Meeting (Big Dark Beers)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the January club meeting at Sly Bandit in Wilton where the theme of the month is Big Dark Beers (Barleywines\, Wee Heavies\, etc)! We will discuss the style\, classic examples and judge the homebrews that embrace the theme of the month\, so bring along your homebrews!\nSly Bandit is a new brewery/restaurant\, so we encourage everyone to come in early and get some food and beers before the start of the meeting!\n\nNew brewer? Or just new to the club? Please come by and join us. Meetings are generally 8-15 folks and focus on tasting homebrew and commercial beers. The meetings are open (membership not required)\, a relaxed atmosphere\, and a great way to either get your beer evaluated (bring 2 bottles) or learn more about beer tasting and judging. Every month we encourage attendants to bring a homebrew that fits the theme of the month. However\, if you have homebrews you would like to showcase that fall outside the theme\, bring them along and we will give them a taste after going through the theme.\nDon’t miss out on club events!
